Cool Life Systems considers helping the environment a top priority.  We believe that sustainable energy decisions are vital for the betterment of our society and the world in which we live.  At Cool Life Systems we have taken several steps to make good on that promise through both the partners we work with and our own office environment.

The product we offer CLS 3.0 as Software as a Service is an eco-friendly product.  You may think this funny, but the use of a SaaS solution is environmentally friendly.  When companies utilize our product they reduce their need and requirements to maintain the servers to run a similar application on their premises.  In some cases this can result in a 20 to 1 savings in electrical power.  With a server utilizing up to 450 watts of energy, this can result in a huge energy savings.

We also take steps within our office to reduced energy consumption.  At Cool Life Systems we only use utilize LCD monitors.  LCD monitors consume less electricity than traditional CRT screens, plus when they reach the end of useful life, LCD displays contain less heavy metals than CRT screens.

We also do little things like only using Compact Fluorescent Lighting (CFL). CFLs use 50-80% less energy than incandescent light bulbs.
